I am a PhD student and fellow researcher in the area of English linguistics at the Department of English and German Studies, University of Zaragoza. My thesis focuses on the pragmalinguistic analysis of the recontextualisation of English phraseology on Instagram. The goal is to explore how EFL speakers learn about phraseology in various formats and languages (Spanish L1 and English L1). My research is framed within the current InterGedi project, “Processes of recontextualisation in the transfer of knowledge: A pragmatic, linguistic and multimodal study of digital scientific discourse for dissemination purposes (SciDis)” (PID2021-122303NB-100).

Last year, I had the opportunity to work as a researcher (Investigadora novel N4) for the research group CIRES (H16_17R) at the Department of English and German Studies (University of Zaragoza). I am currently an English teacher within the Spanish public Secondary Education in Aragón.
