Pilar Mur-Dueñas publishes a video abstract

Pilar Mur-Dueñas had a paper published recently (June 2023) in the Iberica Journal (see reference: Mur Dueñas, P. (2023). Exploring researchers’ digital professional and discursive practices: A genre analysis of international research project websites. Ibérica, 45, 79-107. https://doi.org/10.17398/2340-2784.45.79 ).

She was asked to be the first person to publish a video summarising said paper in the Iberica Journal‘s new YouTube channel. In this kind of videos, which are known as video abstracts, the authors are expected to summarise the contents of the paper in around 2 minutes while also providing visual representations of what is being said.

In this paper, Pilar focuses on a sample of 10 Horizon2020 research project websites taken from EuroPro corpus, and aims to answer these questions: Why do finance research projects set up and maintain an institutional website? How do they do so? What type of information do they include and how is it organised?
