I am a PhD candidate in English Studies (Discourse Analysis) at the University of Zaragoza, holding a national four-year research fellowship (2025-2029) issued by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (Reference No. FPU24/02332).

I obtained my bachelor's degree in English Studies in June 2024, while I worked as an EFL teacher at a language school. In July 2025, I completed my master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Secondary Education.

In my last year as undergraduate, 2023-24, I was awarded a national scholarship, Beca de Colaboración, issued by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional (Application No. 23CO1/007005). I had gained some previous research experience working as an undergraduate assistant during my year abroad at the University of Sheffield, in 2022-23. My first investigation study was supervised by Dr Isabel Herrando-Rodrigo and was a contribution to the current InterGedi project, "Processes of recontextualisation in the transfer of knowledge: A pragmatic, linguistic and multimodal study of digital scientific discourse for dissemination purposes (SciDis)" (PID2021-122303NB-100). The output from this piece of research was published in 2025 by the Complutense Journal of English Studies in an article titled "Analysing the discourse of knowledge transfer practices: A study of proximity in psychology-related podcasts".

My main research interests sit at the intersection of corpus linguistics, discourse analysis, expert knowledge dissemination and science podcasts.
