InterGEDI members attend a meeting of the IMICLES thematic network

On the 8th and 9th of July 2026, InterGEDI researchers Dr Pilar Mur-Dueñas and Dr Vicky Gil attended a meeting as members of the thematic network IMICLES. This project is sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and is coordinated by Dr Noelia Ruiz-Madrid (Universitat Jaume I), member of the GRAPE research group. The IMICLES network aims to build bridges between research, teaching practice and institutional decision-making as regards the internationalisation language policy of Spanish higher education systems.

The researchers of the IMICLES network, representatives of 11 Spanish universities, are currently focused on analysing all the data they have been collecting over the last months. The goal of this meeting was to review the state of the art concerning the focus of the project, share the results from the questionnaires distributed across the universities of the thematic network, and discuss the research questions and lines of action to be followed next. Besides, IMICLES members were able to work with ICT specialists to explore effective ways of curating, cross-analysing and visualising the data gathered through digital tools.

We are very pleased about the milestones completed so far. We will continue working hard to further the research agenda of the IMICLES thematic network!
