I am a PhD student in the Department of English and German Studies at the University of Zaragoza. My thesis focuses on a corpus-based study of the dissemination of scientific content through digital texts aimed at adolescent audiences by creating. The goal is to analyze how cognitive discourse functions and multimodality are employed in the recontextualization of texts with specialized-scientific language to make them understandable for teenagers and the possible application of this corpus in the EFL classroom.
Currently, I work at the University of Zaragoza as an associate lecturer teaching undergraduate and master's courses in the Faculty of Education. Additionally, I am an English teacher at a Secondary School having performed this role for over 20 years. As a professional of education, I have designed and led Erasmus+ projects aimed at improving methodologies related to foreign language teaching and have directed and coordinated bilingual programs. I have also worked as a teacher trainer in courses related to Content Language Integrated Learning, Task Based Learning, and Teacher Knowledge Test.
