I am a senior lecturer in the Department of English and German Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), where I currently teach English grammar, phonetics and phonology of the English language and specialized translation. My research has focused on the analysis academic and professional genres and discourses in traditional and new media contexts. I took part in an international project on international commercial arbitration practices, and I have also participated in two national projects on generic integrity in academic and professional communication and on English as a lingua franca across specialised discourses, with publications in a number of international journals and edited volumes. I am currently engaged in multimodal analysis of websites in professional and academic contexts. I am also a member of the CIRES research group (“International Communication and Social Challenges”, funded by the regional Government of Aragon and the European Union).
